so I’m watching the DNC and right now they’re doing the whole bit with the confetti and the inspiring campaign music and the first family waving and hugging

and all I can think is this would be so fantastic if it was the music from that episode of parks and rec where they couldn’t get to the podium cuz they kept slipping on the ice and the song just kept playing and playing and the poor fucking dog and I’m peeing myself just thinking about it

so yeah obama that’s my advice next time more parks and rec

How do you hope your character comes across to the people watching? 

“If you hear them talking about that blonde pain in the ass, that’s me.”

“This was a simple scene in our first episode, where Leslie talks about her dream for a park. Greg Daniels was directing Michael Schur’s script. I was looking out the window thinking about what it would be like to stay optimistic and hopeful. How I would need to prepare myself for a new project that would take years, and how it would be hard but amazing work. It is my favorite scene to date.”
